If you have stumbled upon a post called Vista is here : a taste of it! blogged by me actually on mauritius.blog.mu, digg and My Web!, you would be pleased to get a nice message : Error 404. Actually I’ve done this symbolically to tell how Microsoft is just bringing us another taste of its whole bunch of buggy and erroneous OS, wrapping it with another gift paper and delivering us nicely the package. What we should get from it so?
Vista : an OS trying to copy Linux’s file system with just another diverting name Win FS, Internet Explorer 7 with tabbed browsing copied from Mozilla Firefox and a great effort from their teams to try to bring us a sleek interface like MacOS (that would actually eat up all our sweet memory
So what would someone do about such an Error like this : tell me ya, my comment form is waiting for it

do you even know what you are talking about?
how about the tabs in Excel that were implemented long before firefox was thought about, the same tabbed browsing that was being debated about being implemented in IE6. Focus groups at the time hated it.
Users are inconsistently inconsistent though. and mozilla capitalized.
and as far as WinFS goes….it got dropped.
as far as the “sweet interface”, well there is nothing as terrible as a mac interface IMHO.
they have crap like preferences and options next to each other in menu’s. What the hell is the difference? nothing. they do shit like overload interface affordances. ie. the trash bin/eject icon for disk’s.
plus all that eye candy is useless, and offers nothing to the interface. that expose bullshit does nothing that alt-tab doesnt, and alt-tab is a lot more simple, something macies seem to love and preach.
gah! i hate kids.
Urgently need a prog to FAX via ADSL ……
I’ve been using Mighty Fax & it worked properly with my MODEM but what about ADSL ???
Please ask all ur bloggers.
@ Tristan : yo how many times have you had to get those fixes when XP was out, how many times did you have to apply those patches, how many times did you have to download updates: so many times that Microsoft said Ok let’s bring them Service Pack 2 so that they don’t have another bullshit to tell…… and then how many times was our so sweet XP wreaked by spyware, viruses and all that stuff…I’m not against Microsoft I’m not saying they do only bullshit remark I like so much their gaming console XBOX but the fact is that if it brings us all this crap then it should be a bit polite because we are not only … to swallow all his rubbish stuff!! They just know their great pirate….privacy policy terrorising us with it
It’s not only about features it’s about the way they do it
that’s what getting them hated
will see how many service packs they will come out when Vista will be here …..
by the populace
hahahahah

[…] I’ve been talking recently on blogs that have been rebooting, but now I think the trend of rebooting has caught me and I’ve also rebooted all that face of my Windows XP. You know the default theme that Windows XP suits is just too crapy and I won’t wait till Windows Vista to get it sweet on my eyes. So better get it cleaner with some new theme : >> XP Energy Blue 2 […]
lol ive missed that post…. hilarious man
i doubt that Tristan guy will ever come here again, but i totally agree with your point of view, and apparently i am not the only one
lol!!!!!!!!

@ kyu
thanks for the link kyu……yeah man…hey have you read all the buzz you’ve got on Vista in the blogosphere? Seems we have to taste it….don’t you think so?
Giga lol @ This post!! youd be ready to screw all your pocket money for vista? lol tthe little positive feedback on vista i have heard seem a bit biased, i mean, people calling mac osx bullsh*t and saying
Dont really seem credible on defending anything (more fanboyish rather…)
could vista be SUCH a big thing that it could wipe out gnu/linux and macosx? heh….
plus am not clear about drm issues, but i just know its not a good thing and involves mediaplaying limitations. So i think Ubuntu came at the right time for me, since i wont be spending money on vista, never
@ leo:
me too lol….wouldn’t buy such crap…..I’ve got a dual boot(
ubuntu down for the moment) and prefer pumping transformation and add-ons packs to my current xp. They offer cool features similar to those available on vista…….. download them here if you want
