Exactly one year back I didn’t even know what was a blog? Then how did all this, BlogoSquare and everything around started for me. It wasn’t for the next Yodel or the next TechCrunch in my head. I suppose because of a need probably a personal need. Ok I’ll spit it out! Don’t laugh back anyone who reads this also don’t be disappointed thinking that I was to launch another war secret.
Ok when boys have need, that might surely be girls? Yes, indeed but not that kind, it was for my little cousin, she is a french. Actually exactly one year back she paid us a visit in Mauritius because another cousin of ours was getting married.
A new friend that I found in my little cousin.
At first she was just there but actually too much there only for her, she was alone and she wanted to remain so. I didn’t give a fu^k, I mean it’s her personal affair. Then just once I approached her, took her little diary she was always carrying with her - I think she wrote things that went here while she was in Mauritius -. I was a bit kidding with her, fooling as usual but then we became friends. She would look for me everytime there was something, if not that would just be boring for her. But yeah I was never here, always out hanging around.
Finally the great day came, she had to return to France. It was only then that I wanted to stay a bit more with her, to know her a bit more. She would always be hiding things from me. Then I felt sorry for I wasn’t there when she needed me and now she is going away.

The day before she had to go, she came to me and laid her head on my shoulders. I just sat back frozen like I was. She really cried when leaving us behind. Yeah I think I don’t “a/more” bit understand all those relationship gibberish but yet something deep inside me wanted that we always ‘keep in touch’. It’s then that the need came : a need to keep contact with her. Something that would allow us to keep in touch, talking about life for her and for me. How’s that getting in here for me and there for her in France.
Pssss, everyone else is techy psss geeky but not me
I’m no techy guy so yeah I didn’t know about blog and even MSN Messenger. Yeah now that I think of this, would any of those bloggers look down to me with big eyes! Probably laugh at me! Just a year back, I didn’t even know that mac os’ was called osx or even there was a mac first of all. What was gmail? I thought only yahoo and m$ did mail. What that CSS and all those div do? psss I was just the mobile one. With my Nokia one.
Then I thought how about a site. I started learning about CSS and site building, got myself a free host and pull a site onto it. It was then that I fell on a blog and I wanted to have one : that would be the greatest way to keep in touch. I posted things and she would comment about her. That was the beginning of my blogging life.
Would that be a beginning?
Hey but I won’t believe it myself because she didn’t visit the blog and even comment on it. The simple reason that she was more cunning than me. That’s cheating what she did :s she found another great way to keep in touch. Better than mine. Ok I’ll tell that onto another post, it’s a bit late, late and the time for me to go to sleep. *Yawn*
Ok, OK then I might ask for anyone that might read what I’ve posted : If you’re a blogger, then why did you start blogging. Something because everybody else was doing it, a way to express yourself, some place to store your thoughts or more a need? Would there be a valuable reason apart from getting famous and earning some bucks through blog?

blogging is this one word zats so hard to define for each and every one us has a different meaning/ reason attached to it…
it can be personal, professional, therapeutic or just for some fun n game…
but again, u must already know this for we ve gone over it in ur previous posts…

I think the more we blog the more that’s gonna be harder for us to define why we started blogging. It could really be something else in the beginning. Then as we blogged and blogged it would just resume to being passion. So inorder not to forget why I came here, I threw that one above.

Mine is much more … down to earth : I was spending hardly all my holidays at my parents’, and i’m not use to it anymore so i was bored to death, with all my friends far away. So I began to blog. It was like finding a friend with the same sense of humour but who is not involved in your “personnal” problems. It was not the first time i started to blog and it was not supposed to survive to the end of the holidays but see, I’m still there !
