Ubuntu OSX

    Erm, i use Xubuntu…..
    this is for Gnome right??
    Xubuntu uses XCfe or something like that as desktop engine.
    any idea???

    @ leo

    I don’t think that “all” the mods are gnome specific. For eg you could still follow the above tutorials to obtain cooler fonts, a cool bottom panel(if your desktop engines comes with one),etc…just read through and spot anything that could be of use to you.

    If you’re using an Ubuntu distro, I would highly recommend you using either the Gnome or the KDE environment. There are tons of great stuffs you could be up to with these 2 flavours since they are also popular and have a large community around. Any reasons why you chose the Xubuntu one?

    thanks.
    in fact i already managed to install gnome. really easy :) i had chosen xubuntu cause my pc was relatively slow (p3 lol) but it doesnt lag behind even with gnome. anyway, am buying meself a monster p4 with my next 5 pays!!! lol

    when you’ve upgraded, don’t forget to spread some goodies on your gnome gui. these range to whole lotta stuffs like cool icon packs, themes,sounds,etc,etc…..
