9Rules is one of the many sites gathering blogs delivering the best content from around the Blogosphere. While they do not accept content in the French language, a new such site has seen the day specifically for French bloggers called French 2.0.

There are 5 basic rules for which your blog should fit in, being written in French would be the main point. To be onboard, rounds are opened through which you can submit your blog within a period of 48 hours. Make sure to stay tuned by your feed readers if you would like to get in. Much like what 9Rules did until they switched to a more efficient way. Now if you want to be a 9Rules’ member, you just contact them making sure to select the 9Rules membership questions or anyone from the drop-down list you find more suited.
While the design of French 2.0 is pretty basic compared to 9Rules, you can easily find your way through. Starting up the first sidebar, you could read the 15 latest posts and going down, the recent comments which do note are from the French 2.0 blog not the members. You should not be confused with the 2 categories section. On the furthest right sidebar, those categories tell you the different communities as 9Rules would call them, that is category in which members’ blogs fit in.
I had a browse among the different member’s blog and found the following blogs worth visiting and subscribing to if you understand the French language:
The above blogs fit mostly in my favourite news topics being Internet, technology and blogging. Do make a tour at French 2.0’s community section to see more members’ sites or subscribe to their feeds.
Pompage.net, French answer to A list Apart
There’s also one famous French resource that I would like to share with you if you like to mingle with CSS, XHTML and accessibility. It’s Pompage.net being the French version of A list Apart. What they do, is translate articles from mainly A list Apart and deliver them in the French language. Many articles are theirs too or from other such popular sites. Worth reading though.

Hope the French will love this particular round I did today, to deliver them some of the best content sources in their native language. Feel free to comment if you’ve any questions or my contact form is also here for your queries.
