Let’s play
Are you a real game modder? I mean taking that console of yours and brushing it into I don’t know what space-like gadget. If that’s what makes you happy but you’re lacking some inspiration, techeblog has compiled a list of the Top 10 Strangest Custom Gaming Systems. My favourite being the PlayStation 2 Portable :), I don’t know who did that but that surely inspired Sony to take out PSP. Shitting in their pants after watching the horrors of this clip, they decided to get their brain cells to work to stop such atrocities. Check it out below:
in pictures : XBOX 360 Elite
Psss, M$ give me some time to buy that XBOX 360 before taking another one, your elite XBOX 360. PC World has got some in pictures of the gear. Indeed it looks impressive with that black and grey rubber look. I don’t know though how the games look like on the XBOX 360 Elite. Have you got anything on that subject?

And yeah, to close the gaming session for today, I’ll let you view this Mario clip, ever so exhilarating, today in line mode. Check it out:

HD DVD Key cracked
Surely you must have known about this before, it was chocking Digg some times back :

On Februrary 11th, doom9 member arnezami posted a message claiming that he had discovered the processing key for the AACS content-protection system:
Here is the Processing Key which should work on all HD DVD discs (and maybe even Blu-Ray discs) released so far:
Save it. Store it.
He discovered it by watching a movie player’s memory space as it loaded the HD-DVD for decoding. In his own words:
This gave me an idea: what I wanted to do is “record” all changes in this part of memory during startup of the movie. Hopefully I would catch something insteresting. In the end I did something a little more effiecient: I used the hd dvd vuk extractor (thanks ape!) and adapted it to slow down the software player (while scanning its memory continously) and at the very moment the Media Key (which I now knew: my bottom-up approach really paid off here) was detected it halted the player. I then made a memdump with WinHex. I now had the feeling I had something.

…more at smiling2
To wrap up, here’s some South Park goodies. I think I saw this for the first time on aadil’s blog but even thought he drew it up himself. Discretos allows you to create your own custom made South Park character, to get it for yourself, you’ll have to do print screen and paste that into a graphics program. Then you can decide what to do next with it, put it in your about me page or decorate your blog with it. You decide! Look at the one, I created, I know he’s nude but dare anyone say that to him, he got a katana in hand :
